Some absolute clangers in there! What a load of nonsense. Let me correct a few things.

$8000 for the install of a L2 charger is very much an edge case. 200amp panels have been standard since the early 1980's. In general it will cost hundreds, not thousands of dollars and will add value to your home. Range will not likely decrease by 30%, more like 12%-20% depending on heater use. And the 'safety factor' is also present in gas cars so it's not unique to EV's. If you're measuring real word range you cannot drop a 10% margin of safety just because.

The vehicle has a 300 mile range, you would be able to venture well out of your neighborhood without having to charge at ALL. 300 miles is about 4 hours of driving. You won't need to sit at a charger for an hour, 30-40 minutes is realistic but every 4 hours wouldn't any normal person need a break?

Officials flying around on planes has nothing to do with EV's, and your concerns about rare earth is laudable, but you don't seem to account for the alternative which is CO2 emissions, the extraction and processing of oil, refineries, transportation of oil and gas, and the leaks of methane from oil drilling activities. Prices will rise for raw materials to make batteries, but the price of gas and the raw materials to manufacture vehicles will also increase.
