I bought this car recently and was told it is a 1928 Chevrolet. The seller didn’t have doors or a windshield frame. I am hoping to find parts…but am struggling to know what I’m looking for. 1928 Chevrolet Nationals have very different body lines below the windows. So what is this?.

I have done some looking and am pretty sure this is a FORD Model A. Can anyone narrow down the year? Probably an okay thing…Model A parts should be more readily available.

sounds right. I kind of doubt there is a difference in years since the whole point was easy production and interchangeability.

I agree. It's obviously chopped already, so hopefully the person who did that did it well; otherwise, you're in for a helluva ride on this one.

What are your plans for this? Custom with a modern engine, etc?

I’m actually going to rat it. It’s pretty far gone…

Sounds like fun. Much better than trying to restore it.
