Glad I got a 2019 Avalon instead of this turtle.

Looks like it has a bit of the “gunsight” window syndrome, like the Camaro. No reason for them to be that narrow on a big raised sedan. ☹️

"The current Avalon V6, for instance, produces a bit less power and has a 26 mpg combined estimate" Sure wish my '21 Avalon (Touring Edition) got that. Not even on all-highway trips.

Love my 2019 Avalon! Can’t believe it will not be an option for future purchases : (

The Avalon is an almost perfect car for all around comfort and mileage. Changing to the Crown is a big mistake in my opinion.

We love our 2013 XLE AVALON!!! Sorry, but this thing is of no interest to us.

"funky" is but only ONE comment I would leave...Toyota has tried this before with limited/no success.
Sorry, my 2004 Avalon XL with the bulletproof 3.0 has only just turned 185K. I think I'll keep driving IT. My 04 is the last year for the "Buick" type bench seat, shifts on the column like the big Buick, and has the XL Luxury Package with the leather bench seating, JBL sound system with amp and sub, 16" alloys, and the key fob. Not state of the art, but damn sure good enough for me. I'LL PASS...KEEP THAT FUNKY LOOKIN CROWN!

Really a shame to replace the Avalon with this (?). Love our 2011 Avalon with 250 K and no issues. Will be replacing it soon with same model year with fewer miles. Will pass this one on to a grand daughter! Very critical of Toyota for, in my opinion, a very poor decision.

This thing is ugly. They should have left the Crown as it is in Japan. Looks great and a departure from that stupid big grille nonsense. I really doubt that Toyota does focus group studies. I have done them...the big grille stuff is passe.

They should have added the crown to the lineup and left the Avalon as is. I've had my 2021 Limited Hybrid for 2 years and don't have a single complaint, especially with the 46 mpg!

Bad decision. Should leave the Avalon alone.

My 2006 Avalon is the BEST car I’ve ever owned! Been driving Cadillac’s since I was around 20. I’m 82, and have had around 25 Caddy’s. My son convinced me to buy an Avalon in 2006and I won’t part with it. Toyota should have added the Crown hybrid as a new model and left the Avalon’s in place…..
