To buy or not to buy: Audi Extended Warranty
Hi Folks,
My 2019 A6 is about to come off of factory warranty shortly. Running fine, so issues. Dealer maintained. I intend to keep it for few more years and have been shopping for extended warranties that can cover expensive unforeseen repairs. I'm getting quotes from $6800 on the low side to $8200 on high side for additional 5 years of coverage and 100k miles total.
I would like to buy the coverage, but this is quite high. Any recommendations for better plans and/or just ditch them altogether and why.
Thanks in advance!

Personally, when a salesman is pushing for an EW I ask to see the exclusions page. This tells you what ISN’T covered.
2019 Kia Soul+, 2015 Mustang GT, 2013 Ford F-150, 2000 Chrysler Sebring convertible

If $6800 is the best you can do if you like the car and want to keep it, I’d roll the dice and take my chances.
If you’re that unsure about the A6’s reliability, put that $6800 toward the purchase of an another car.
