AC problems

I have a 2018 Kia Sedona, the AC in the rear is not blowing air. A year ago Kia fixed it but it's not working again. I took it in but the warranty expired a month before. I' m trying to stay away from the dealer since they are so expensive, and took it to Pep-Boys. They were not able to fix it because they could not tap into
the vans computer system. Is this true? Is Kia my only option?

    No Kia is not your only option but you will need to seek out an independent shop/technician that puts more emphasis into diagnostics and electronics.
