Safe to keep a Tiguan 2014 that's burning oil?

Hello guys, I bought my VW tiguan 2014 in June 2022. Back then, it had 65K miles. 6 months later, 200 miles after my first oil change, the low oil light was on. Took the car to a VW dealership. They found misfires on cylinders 3+4 with hide cylinders fault. They found after market plugs and coils and also found that the plugs are fouled out. They removed and replaced spark plugs and all four coils. Car had 71,674 miles back then. 3.5 months later, mid May 2023, oil pressure light came on again. Took the car back to VW dealership. Car only had 2.5 quarts of oil. They did oil change and changed oil filter. 4 month later at 78,380 miles, low oil light was on again. Car was 4 QTS low on oil. Changed the PCV valve. Did not work. Decided to buy LiquiMolly oil as it was strongly recommended by mechanics. So I did a oil change at 79,955 miles, with LiquiMolly SAE 5W40, put LiquiMolly Engine Flush before and LiquiMolly Engine life safer after the oil change. The whole deal! Forgot to mention that the car has a hard time driving in hills. Drove 1700 miles since this last oil change so I am not at 81,641 miles and the oil level is already low. What do you think I should do? Keep the car and top it off when needed or sell it as it is and buy a new car. Bought it for 17,000 1.5 years ago so kinda want to keep it longer even if it's going to cost me more in oil and Premium gas but at the same time I do not want to create more damages by driving it if it's burning that much oil. Thanks in advance for your input!

There are a lot of times we see a vehicle owner where the car is going through a quart of oil in the 1000~2000 mile range, with no other symptoms. That level of consumption would not be considered a problem, and they should just be diligent about adding as required. The usage you are describing here, especially with having spark plugs fouled on cylinders #3 and #4 is the opposite side of the spectrum. While you might be able to protect the engine by checking and adding to the oil at just about every other fill-up with gas you will continue to have drivability issues when the spark plugs foul again. I would be interested to see how bad the deposits on the plugs are right now. You are talking just 1700 miles since the last oil change, but you didn't specify how low it is this time, but in the beginning, it seems you are referring to a quart of oil in as little as 200~400 miles. To use that kind of oil I would be getting the borescope out and inspecting the cylinder walls for scoring.
