I have a 2008 Chevy Express that I would like to add the split style seat that are in the newer Chevy vans. Has anyone done this before? Is it possible and how do I do it?

Lot's of things are possible, some even practical, but that is going to be very dependent on exactly what someone is trying to do and their skill set. The first thing to pay attention to is whether there is body support not just for the seat where you want to install it but for the seatbelts that should be installed. The body should have bracing underneath the floor for strength that will support the fasteners and prevent them from pulling out should there ever be an accident. You also have to be very aware of everything else that is below the floor. Gas tanks, brake and fuel lines, wiring harnesses are some of the items that have been accidently damaged when things have been installed inside a vehicle. It is possible that the body may be built with all of the mounting areas for whatever seating it could have been built with. A little investigation would be time well spent to be sure what is there and if anything what is designed to fit.
