Power Seat Making Noise

Driver's seat is noisy when moving backwards (but not when moving forward. Is this a failing motor? Is there a work around to avoid changing the motor? If must change motor, needs dealer or any reputable mechanic?

    Have similar problem. Driver 8 way seat ‘grinds’ going forward, and ‘grinds’ to a HALT when trying to RAISE the seat. Dealer says the frame assembly (part#13506164) needs to be replaced. Problem is it is no longer available!

    Can get a used one for $125 BUT it is $300 to ship. They won’t separate bottom from just the fabric part of seat!
