Buying used 2016 to 2020 options. To my knowledge, the big benefit of the 2019 is the new model and big benefit is the transfer case issue pre 2019.

Prices jump quite a bit. Current options:
2016 to 2018 for $25k and ~70k miles

2019 to 2020 for $40k and ~60k miles

think it's really worth the newer model for the extra $15k? To me the main factor is the car breaking down and needing major repairs... from what I've read, they look and feel the same so I might as well just save the money and get the 2016-2018 model.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Have you read up on the amount of servicing and maintenance that Porsche requires for these Cayennes? My Mom had an '11 & a '16 Cayenne. Base V6. Sample size of 2. Her '16 had the transfer case issue. At 80K miles (according to the owner's manual) the Cayennes require a second set of new spark plugs. It is a labor intensive, very expensive service.
