Telluride Engine breakdown - Kia claiming backorder for 2 months

I am the original owner of this 2020 Telluride. We have 50K miles on it, and it has been a fine car until recently. The engine suddenly broke down, and Kia has agreed to replace it under warranty. Problem is the Kia Cust Service and my Kia service dealership are claiming the engine is on backorder and has been like that for 2 months. I have called the Cust Service numerous times, but they claim they cannot give me an ETA and have no clue when an engine could be available. Meanwhile most of the summer and now we have had to make do without our primary vehicle.

Has anyone else had a similar experience, what are my resolution options. Would appreciate feedback.

Sounds identical to my situation! I am the original owner of my 2020 Telluride and the engine just broke down in the last couple months. I took it to the dealer at the end of August and was told my engine is on back order. I call once a week for an update and am consistently told that there is no change… still waiting.

My 2020 Telluride has been sitting at the dealership since July. They told me that the engine is on backorder as well and are unable to give me an eta. I'm unsure what to do as this is my only vehicle. After doing some research it appears that the 2020 Telluride has some engine issues.
