“Clunking”sound coming from rear when shifting

I have a 2016 GMC Acadia with 122,000 miles I’m getting a rear clunking sound when shifting I took it to my local shop they couldn’t find anything wrong they recommended I go to a reputable transmission shop which I did and he couldn’t find anything wrong I am wondering if anybody has had a similar issue

    There are a couple TSB's for these cars regarding clunk noises. The first one basically describes a condition where a noise can occur, but there is no repair advised or required. That one is #99-04-20-002J Dated March 29th, 2017.

    There is a second advisory note that outlines a clunk when accelerating from coasting. This describes wear in the "wheel drive shaft cross groove joint". That is the CV joint at the front of the rear driveshaft, the one that connects right at the transfer case.

    I don't see any other references to clunk nose issues.
