Cayenne Coupe S-Hybrid 2024 Burmester Stereo - Horrible AM Radio Reception

I have a 2024 Cayenne Coupe S-Hybrid and paid extra for the premium, top-of-the-line Burmester 3D High-End Surround Sound System. The sound of the Burmester is generally fine, but its AM radio reception is horrible. You have to turn the volume up really high to hear the stations and even then the signal comes in with a lot of static. For example, the volume level for a typical FM/Sirius XM station might be 12, but to hear AM radio at the same volume you have to turn the volume up to 21 or 22 (with lots of static). The dealership tested a Bose radio in another Cayenne hybrid and its AM reception was fine with no problems. The horrible AM reception in the Burmester is substandard for any radio, but it is especially inexcusable when you are paying for a premium stereo system in a premium vehicle. Is this problem isolated to my car (i.e., I received a bad unit), or are others having the same problem?
