Clutch Replacement "COST" ... Good-Bye SX4
I have an 07" with only 70,427mi. Due to illness, I haven't driven it much in the last 7 yrs.
Clutch replacement estimates are around $2400.00. The place my family has used quoted $2,416. That matches what the Blue Book price is. It's never been in for a repair ... Only maintenance.
Anyway, an otherwise wonderful car renders itself useless. It makes me think about how anyone would see it as feasible to replace a clutch at such a high expense. I'm in CA so everything is costly here.
