Help help, trouble finding/ using child locks

Hi, for the last 20 years, every one of my vehicles had a button on the driver's door that operated child locks. I was shocked to find that my new 2025 Kia Sportage X line didn't have that easy option. I now have to engage locks on one of the rear doors in advance by using a key. Sales manager told me there's an AI feature now built into Xline which automatically engages child locks if a car is detected to the left or right of my vehicle. I was horrified, I asked the sales manager what would happen if I were injured on a busy highway when my car was rear ended. The AI would notice there were cars to my left and right and automatically lock any passengers into the rear of the car without any way to get out of the vehicle. Can this be true? Does anyone know if aftermarket child locks can be installed in the Sportage X line?
