Ripping out the spyware not just settings, anyone tried physically disabling car data transmission ?
I want to know how to physically disconnect or disable the stuff that tracks and transmits data. Has anyone here done this? I’m talking about pulling antennas, ripping out cellular modems, disabling microphones, or whatever actually works.
Your GPS location at all times
How fast you drive
When you brake hard
How often you accelerate quickly
What time you drive, where you go, and how long you stay
I looked into it and apparently companies like "LexisNexis" are getting all this driving data and giving it to insurance companies.
I read another one Allstate tricked people into downloading some kind of rewards apps that spied on them everywhere they go used it to raise rates.
If I put secretly some kind of tracker on someone's car and spied on them I would probably go to jail for being a creep but I'm sure as usual corporate creeps will just use a little profit to pay a fine.
I don't want a discussion how my phone already spys on me or be told I have nothing to hide like the other threads I read online, can we just have a real discussion about just ripping big brother hardware right out of the car?
Where do they hide the antennas ? Like how does the whole thing work where do you start?
I was thinking go to the self serve junk yard and find the same car as mine and take it apart and find the hidden spy gadgets, practice taking apart a wreck first.
Where is the GPS antenna? nobody business my location and follow me around damn creeps.
