Help me decide

I used to do leases, switched to buying at lease end depending on the car and mileage and whether I liked what was available come lease end. Presently in the JGCherokee of the last design ie not the new body. 80th anniv edition. Love this car and it has just reached 20kmi - that's how new it is. Looking to get into something else mainly to reduce my monthly payments and this car is now too big for me. Considering Q3 but the pricing is bonkers both for lease and buy. Minimally advantageous to lease a new one. Any advice here? Ive got several trade offers which I find ridiculous given my low mileage so am considering doing the sale myself then plopping down some of the gains towards cap cost.
Main priorities: I want to mod the one I do get to tint the windows because I cannot deal with the sun and nosy ppl. With a lease I think one cannot but I have seen lease returns on the lots with tinted windows so what gives?

for the tint, if you do it, find out at lease end if they care. If it is an issue, just have it removed if you want to have it bad enough.

I assume the offers are from a dealer and Carmax/Carvana? If those are all consistent, that pretty much tells you what realistic wholesale value is. So factor that into buying it. And even if you think you can sell it for more than the lease buyout figure, you will get hit with sales tax (unless in a no tax state). Odds are your best bet is to turn it in, and let Jeep deal with the negative equity and start fresh. But before that, if you really know what you want, shop it at a couple of dealers that sell that brand.

And an Audi is not normally what you want to be looking at if you are worried about payments. How about a VW instead (Taos or Tiquan?) Or another more mainstream brand.

If you lease an Audi I wouldn’t buy it out at the end of the lease/warranty.

I have to agree with that! Audi is what you lease, not what you buy. I mean, they are generally reliable, especially if you're comparing to a Stellantis product, but when you do have repairs, they can be big bucks, comparatively, and you don't strike me as a DIY owner.

Didnt know tint removal is possible?! good to know.
The jeep isnt a lease atm. It's a buy. I'm just wondering whether to work a trade with say the audi dealers or sell to carmax/vana or a jeep dealer as a separate transaction. Equity wise I have less than 2 years worth of miles on a car now 5 yrs old...it's been parked for most of the time I had it.

I hated the tiguan. Hated. Im looking for a less chunky suv that is not lethargic and a behemoth but isnt choc full of roadnoise and engine whinging like the mazdas which give me a headache.

LOL - your read is 100% accurate. Not a DIYer. Want something that will be problem free and I dont mind switching out every couple of years. Ive been doing the leasing for this reason just reevaluating whether I should consider a buy so that I dont have to deal with lease-end trauma then opting for buying at lease end.

context: I also liked the stelvio. The Q3 > stelvio if that helps you guage me better. Didnt really try any of the bimmers bc Clarkson says only wankers drive those (this is partially a joke, no offense lol) but the ones I have driven in the past felt a bit too stiff for my taste. I like the handling/responsiveness and speed of the Q3/Q5.

For the reason stated above. Expensive to fix out of warranty.
