    By avoiding pneumatic wrenches, Guitarzan, you are surely avoiding the major source of disaster. You probably don't need a torque wrench if you have tightened a good many nuts with the same wrench and thus developed a "calibrated elbow."

    However, for most people, I think Vivona's advice is excellent.
