Toyota RAV4 Keyless Entry

I have one simple question. Is the keyless entry on the RAV in the key (one unit) like the other toyotas, or is it a separate remote and a separate key?

    They told me there was a ways to disable the beep when unlocking the doors. Can anyone tell me how this is done? Thanks!

    I did it with my 2001 years ago. The instructions are in the owners manual. Takes one minute.

    I just took delivery of a 2007 RAV4 today. All I could find in the manual regarding this topic was a note saying "Consult your Toyota dealer".

    This is one of a number of settings that can be changed on the new RAV4s, but all must be done at the dealer with their scan tool. You can no longer change them yourself.
