I'm dying for some new information on this vehicle. We get spy shots on everything but not this one?
Love the current model and anxious to see what Infiniti comes up with. Hope they dont mess it up, but if it's simply a bigger version of the new EX, I will be happy.
- 39 month lease due 12/1/2008
- only 22K miles driven/28K miles left on lease
I went to the LA Car show yesterday.
Impressions:
- EX35 has got a great tech package (esp. top view "virtual" camera)
- not impressed with rear styling with EX
I hope that the 2009 FX37/50 is NOT a bigger version of the EX; I hope we see subtle styling evolution changes - from that remarkable 2003 design.

"The new V8 delivers 369 pound-feet of torque and is linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission with adaptive shift control, downshift rev-matching and solid magnesium paddle shifters."
My first thought was that this was a 'preview' of the M50 for 2008 - and that an M50 would be available later this Calendar Year...
With the competition where it is for the M45, I would not think Infiniti could wait another year before such an upgrade to the engine \ trans.
But I could be wrong.

Hoping, for the sake of Infiniti sales, that I am not wrong, this time...

Just saw the new FX37 at the NY auto show a couple of weeks ago and while the styling is not revolutionary like the original it is certainly evolutionary. The EX on the other hand did not do anything for me. Very small inside and kind of a hatchback look.
Decisions, decisions. With the price of gas approaching $4.00 I'm actually considering hybrids. Maybe by September gas will be $2.50 again LOL.
