Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon - Steering/Ignition Lock

Does your canyon colarado steering wheel lock when you remove key? Mine used to. Now am told by dealer that it wasn't designed to lock...Do all dealers treat their customers like Morons

    I don't have one, but all vehicles steering wheels lock with the ignition key removed. Some times on my S10 I have to slightly turn the steering wheel for it to lock but that is about it. If the dealer is telling you this, they don't know what they are talking about. Try another dealer if its unable to lock because it could be a sign of an ignition problem.
