Brought in the car to dealer this morning because I noticed the two headlights are not leveled, driver side light is shooting lower than the passenger side. The service advisor told me its normal as they do not want the new light system with strong beam shooting into opposite direction oncoming car, is this true or just a way to talk me out?Does your CX7 has the same setting?

This is correct - in the middle of the top edge of the beam, there's a step down - it looks sort of like this:

    ______________/--------------------

and the reason is as stated - all drivers-side headlights should be aimed a bit downwards, to keep them out of the eyes of oncoming drivers. It's just with the HID, which has a super-sharp cutoff at the top edge, rather than a more-gradual fade-away, the aiming difference is much more visible.
