Hi, Does anyone here had any experience with a noise coming from the air filter box, looks like the noise is only when the air temp. is below 40F. and when is below 2000 rpm.
I can not explain what type of noise that is, maybe like when you turn on a house vacuum.
Any ideas??/
Thank You

IAC valve, an easy DIY replacement on '00-'01. The noise is commonly referred to "foghorn" but can vary and sound different to some.

Tha's exactly how it sounds, even my neighbor told me that it sounds like an old horn.
Do you know the exact location on this specific car?... I can only find the Map sensor and the Mass air flor sensor.
    Thank you,
