Best oil to use in a Jeep Cherokee

I was wondering what oil everyone thinks is the best to use in a 2000 jeep cherokee 4.0 with 86000 miles.

i use mobil 1 synthecit in my 2000 gc with 4.7 and 176000 miles on it don't use any oil betwen changes

if you do deside to go with a synthetic, make surey you don't have any oil leaks, because it will make it worse... If you drive your jeep in worm climates stay away from penzoil...

What happens if you use 5w30 in the good ol' 4.0 I6? I know it's supposed to take 10w30.
