Acura 3.2 TL Radio Code

edited March 2014 in Acura
I have a 1996 3.2 TL and the fuse for the radio
blew out when I tried attaching a laptop to the
lighter socket (combined fuse). Now the radio says
'CODE' and won't work unless I enter the code.
However, I don't have the code and didn't get it
before the fuse blew. What is the way I can get
this code?

I think you will have to call the dealer to get it.

By the way, did you see our topic on radio problems?

It is helpful to think of Town Hall as sort of a social situation where folks gather to discuss lots of things about lots of topics, as opposed to the usual question and answer board. Just like if you are at a party, the best thing to do is to look around for a conversation (topic) that is interesting to you and join in. This usually will get you a lot more responses than starting up a whole new topic directed at no one in particular.

But anyway, I do think you will have to get an Acura dealer involved in finding out the code.

Good luck, and welcome to Town Hall!
