Subaru Tribeca Exhaust System Questions

This evening while checking the spare tire air pressure on my 2007 B9, I noticed a lot of rust on the exhaust tubing that leads from the engine to the mufflers. The mufflers themselves had no visible rust. Anyone else experience this? Is it a problem that should be inspected?

That is normal. All exhaust systems except for the mufflers themselves get rusty. I pulled mine off to put the SPT exhaust on my LGT and it was full of surface rust. It shouldn't be rusted through but it'll have surface rust on it.
