1.anything that produces or imparts motion 2.an engine; esp., an internal-combustion engine for propelling a vehicle YADA YADA YADA YADA 4. Elec: a machine for converting electrical energy into mechanical energy..................
It goes on and on................etc....... reefer madness and Tim are both correct.
When you put it that way Tim, it does make sense. BUT, I do race a MOTORcycle and anyone can pick up MOTORtrend at the news stand. I guess the word is used in a way to make it sound better. The English language is often misused, that's why we don't got no enginecycles. And I ain't never heard of a fan engine, and I don't got no need for a Jehova by stander.

So back to question......How is this relevant?
..it's an Electric Motor
...."the engine in the fan died"..."the engine in the washer is on the brink"
...Electric - Motor
Gas - Engine..
I have never called a gas engine a Motor....cuz motors are electric!
(leave me alone Roc....I have a new victim to upset!)
LOL
Watch what he comes back with....

Except me.....
I'm getting an Engine called an LS6....surrounded by a Body called a 70 Chevelle!
Yeah right....
