Sunoco at Rhawn and Verree in NE Philly has RUG at $3.71 already! Ultra is at $3.95! I'd like to go over to Iran and stuff a nuke down that troublemaking pipsqueak's mouth and detonate it before he causes any more havoc. Then I'll go to Wall Street and torture a bunch of petroleum speculators in ways that would make Jigsaw and Hannibal Lecter puke! :mad:
Philly is higher than Us in CA. We are only paying $4.33 for Shell regular. My Costco jumped from $3.99 on Friday to $4.25 today. If you look hard you can find premium over $5 now. Diesel is officially less than RUG here. Many stations with diesel under $4.25 a gallon. Don't you all wish you had bought a diesel Jetta. :shades:
Felling like a top here in Happy Valley. Prices have been bouncing around pretty good, sometimes multiple times daily. Range I saw today for 87 was $3.66 to $3.82
Filled today at Costco today. It was down to $4.17 from a high of $4.29. Most stations are still at $4.39, so I was surprised when I pulled up to the pump.
Just got home from the road trip - haven't run the numbers but it looks like the gas bill is ~$840 for ~4,300 miles.
$3.99 was the usual price in lower Michigan yesterday and today. Got some in the UP for $3.95 this afternoon. That was a bit odd; usually we're ten or twenty cents higher above the bridge than down south. Haven't looked at the local stations yet.
On the way into the office at 7:30 AM... $3.85 (which was up 6 cents from 2 days before)
At 2 PM... $3.95
All the while, the radio airwaves are plastered with campaign ads telling me how Obama's energy plan is a REAL plan that's reducing our dependence on foreign oil.
Ya know... if JUST SAY NO was stupid for drugs, it's REALLY stupid for gasoline.
Even though Costco dropped, our local Shell and Chevron are hanging in at $4.45. Diesel is the bargain here at $4.49. It has not moved for a couple months.
I did notice yesterday on I70 to Columbus and today on I75 to and today to Cincinnati that people followed me in the right hand lane at my nominal cruising speed of 60/62 mph in 65 zones. I chalk it up to people saving gas by cruising a little slower when they're not in a hurry.
I keep my ride topped-off all the time nowadays! At this rate, it would cost almost $82 to fill my Cadillac DTS. We're driving the LaCrosse a lot these days as it takes RUG and gets the best fuel economy. We're all being ROBBED and are taking it like a bunch of cowering sheep!
Must be nice to have such CHEAP gas in Philly. You can pay over $5 for premium in San Diego city. RUG is up to $4.89 in places. The good news would be the price of diesel matching RUG at many stations. And I don't have anything but a diesel tractor.
Paid $4.45 for Chevron premium yesterday, then did the normal line of being stuck at negligently managed traffic controls. Maybe if we hit $5 there will finally be enough outcry to get our beloved "traffic engineers" to actually earn their healthy pay and ginormous benefits.
When I moved to this little town there was only one stop light. 5 years later we have 5 in town. They are all smart lights with camera sensors. If I am coming up to the left turn lane with no traffic on the main street it gives me the green arrow. Saves a lot of time waiting for a preset cycle to run.
The last time I got gas for my Mercury Grand Marquis, I went to the Giant gas station across from the store. If you buy $100+ in groceries, you can get 10 cents off a gallon.
The big news was that the one sort of close station is no longer ethanol free. They've joined the crowd (and their gas price is now on a par with everyone else too).
A reporter would like to speak to someone who buys ethanol-free gasoline. If you consistently purchase ethanol-free gasoline (aka pure gas), and you are willing to speak to a reporter about why you purchase ethanol-free gas rather than the E10 blends sold at most filling stations, please email PR@edmunds.com no later than 10 a.m. Pacific /1 p.m. Eastern Friday, April 20, 2012 with your daytime contact information.

There's a lot of coast hear but anybody that's selling to boats has the price way jacked up.
I'll be in Manhattan tomorrow. Remind me to not run out of gas in the city. The prices and insane.
RUG = $3.47
Plus = $3.57
Ultra = $3.71
What's weird is that it is 5 to 11 cents less elsewhere. This knucklehead deserves to lose business!
$3.33 there. $3.37 elsewhere. Same brand - Sunoco.

So only up 4 cents in the past 3 weeks here.

Does the guy have ANY clue? I think not.
I don't see demand falling anytime soon, but it was nice to be able to get on my bike yesterday and run errands.
Saving gas?

At least the tank lasted a couple of weeks.
Usually it pops up every couple of days and always takes a month to come down.

I could have bought a lottery ticket with the savings.
