What's your point on the Op systems on PCs? Windows has more options and bushel-more software written for it. Just because it's an Apple doesn't mean it's leaps and bounds above any IBM-compatible.
is that most and best are not synonyms. Mac and OS/2 systems don't crash as often as WIN systems. I am using WIN 98 here for several reasons, but don't like all of it. Ford trucks aren't bad, but here in the land of salt we do more frequent and more expensive repairs on the swing axel Fords than on Dodge or GM suspensions. Some local people I know had TWO SETS of replacement ball joints in their 92 E-150's before the warranty ran out. I don't see how Ford can claim "operator error" on that one the way they did on the automatic transmissions that jumped from park to reverse. No media people ever asked the obvious question when Ford claimed that.
Next you say I would not buy a Ford, Dodge, or Chevy Silverado. Get the facts straight the Chevy Silverado is the same truck in 2500 form as it is in the 1500 it is just more heavy duty.
I said I would not buy the NEW silverado, as it is not designed to be a heavy duty truck. GM is still manufacturing the old style C/K series as their heavy duty units. My son has a C-2500, and the GVW rating of the truck allows for more than a ton and a half load. The newer ones of that style allow more than two tons.
If you actually read what I wrote, you would see that I would BUY a C-2500, I did not say I wouldn't buy anything.
because Ford has had a superior truck in that 2500 and up market for two years now in the Super Duties and needs a challange to keep it fresh in my mind. Now Ford should get one with the new GM's, DCX's and Japanese Trucks joining the fray in the next few years I have a feeling Ford will be hard pressed to maintain market share in the HD area with their current trucks.
