It's good to see the Ranger rated that well by Carpoint. That's the first chart I've seen that rated the early 90's Toyotas that bad though. The Ranger's quality is obviously getting better and it's getting tougher to find a definitive difference in the ratings (especially when vince's uncle works for Carpoint:)).
The last line of that article pretty much sums it up, The ranger doesnt have any competition at all, its in a class of its own. I like the 4.10 gearing with the torsen Ls the truck will be able to go any where it wqants. rmacios, thats a pretty truck with a pretty fish mouth grill, can it squeal like a pig.. alls we need now is bert reynolds endorsements and I'm sold.
Barlitz, that was cold! He has a nice truck, set up for desert where it is nice and flat...sandy but flat...he should try Medano pass where you combine sand, mud, rocks, river, etc...
allknowing: I think the toy dings was due to the engine gasket issue. Look, Toys are great but my Ranger is no slouch. It gets me there, was a great price and I like it.
That FX4 is an impressive truck. I hope it motiviates Toyota to check its fine platform, recoginize it is getting dated and modify it. But just from reading, I think that Ranger FX4 will spank any Tacoma it runs with, bar none. If that is what your interesed in. And on the road it will ride like a dream. And I liked the teaser about Ford Racing getting involved. I just wanna see the discounted price on that baby like was on mine, which was 25% under sticker.
2001 Fourwheeler.com Ultimate 4x4 Test ( Hummer, Range Rover, Wrangler, Tacoma)
Winner - Toyota Tacoma
" The tacoma was the best at speedy desert runs, and climbing. It is indeed the ultimate 4x4"
-fourwheeler.com
" There are certain areas that I think Ford could improve upon, however. Unloaded ride quality was poor; the truck was too bouncy and generally unpleasant to drive. Even more worrisome was the lackluster build quality found on our test truck. Interior trim pieces were loose and had large gaps. The driver-side window switch pod popped out easily, exposing the wires beneath. Our truck was also leaking transmission fluid during our test.
Ford has been criticized recently about declining levels of quality. Maybe it's time to bring back the old Ford tagline. You know, where "Quality Is Job 1"?"
- Edmunds 2001 compact crew cab comparison
" The ranger rattled like a diamondback offroad"
- edmunds.com
" We choose the tacoma unanimously over the Ford Ranger for our pickup of the year"
-fourhweeler.com 98 truck of the year
" The tacoma could simply go places the other trucks couldn't"
-fourwheeler.com 2001 pickup of the year
" The tacoma simply opened a can of whoop-[non-permissible content removed] on the comptetition"
-fourwheeler.com 2001 pickup of the year, winner Toyota Tacoma
" the Tacoma is acutally THAT good. Good enough to beat a hummer, range rover, and wrangler".
- fourhweeler.com 2001 Ultimate 4x4 comparison test
" If your considering a used ranger, take it for a very, very long test drive".
After reading your link to the brochure for the new Fx4 Ranger I came across this -
\\Equipped with the optional “FX4” package, Ford’s best selling mid-size undergos the transformation from economical work/commuter vehicle to a fully capable off-road weapon, through the use of several state of the off-road art components.\\
Basically they are saying the current Non-Fx4 Rangers are only "economical work/commuters" LOL!!!!!
So by posting this link you agree with myself and offroad.com that the regular Ranger( YOURS) is indeed ment for only pavement and Home Depot runs? Because thats what offroad.com is saying here.
Oh yeah , Ford is really breaking ground LOL!
Skid plates and Gas tank plates- Standard on Toyota pickups since forever
Stainless Steel tow hooks - Standard on Toyota pickups since forever.
Here's another fun one from your link -
"Though off-roaders like “high tech” electronic goodies just like anyone else, the transfer case isn’t among them. We like a good old fashioned shift lever to engage and disengage our gears. To meet the need, Ford has abandoned the electronic shifted x-fer case on the FX4 (manual transmission version), once again adding to the reliability and versatility of the truck"
You mean like what Toyota has done all these years? LOL! Looks like Ford is learning from the master......Toyota.
Ooops, and whats this? A limited Slip? lol.
I suggest you read the fourhweeler.com Ultimate 4x4 comparions 2001 to see how limited slips fared against the Tacoma's locker.
" The Tacoma locker destroyed the other means of traction on the Hummer and Range Rover. It was fast and reliable, and we didn't have to wait for computers to kick in, maybe causing us to lose ground"
It looks like this new Fx4 is all tricks and no treats. LOl, gotta love Ford junk.
Hopefully this laughable truck will be pitted against the Tacoma in a comparison test soon by a reputable magazine ( not one that has online dating banners).
Do you really think this wimpy offering by Ford can compete with a truck(Tacoma) that beat a Hummer, Wrangler, and Range Rover offroad? Think again.
"Ford has taken the lead...in providing...a truly "capable" off road vehicle..." "...it becomes clear that the FX4 really doesn't have any competition at all."
"...the FX4 really doesn't have any competition at all."
I was not the one that begged out of the San Juan mountains spoog...
You read too much into that article. Let me translate:
"...Ford's best selling mid-size..."
Hold it right there, the best selling midsize is the Ranger, not just the 4X4 Ranger, the RANGER. Lets go on:
"...undergos the transformation from economical work/commuter vehicle..." Hold on again, they are talking JUST about the Ranger, not the 4X4 but the RANGER.:
"... to a fully capable off-road weapon..."
Weapon, a major 4X4 reviewing group is calling a Ranger a weapon? Love it! Continue:
"...through the use of several state of the off-road art..."
STATE OF THE OFF-ROAD ART...that means the cutting edge, not a worn out old platform like the Tacoma.
"...components..."
Top off the line components, state of the art, weapon, . . . RANGER!
spoog, this is not even funny any more. Ranger has more hp, more torque, better driveline from Borg-Warner and Torsen and Dana, fully integrated with Japaneese technology with it's merger with Mazda and what do you talk about? a soon to be 15 year old platform. It is Ford my friend that is breaking new ground with the 4X4 segment, not Toyota. Heck your engine is based on the old 3.0 dated back to the mid 80's. Tranny has not changed.
Don't get me wrong, Toyota Tacoma has a very good platform, just 2nd rate to the FX4 as stated in that article. Lets see if 4 Wheeler has the guts to pit a Tacoma against one without stacking the deck to Tacoma, like it's last test.
FX4 sounds like a nice truck Cp and may be something I'd be interested in in the future. I'd wait a year or so to see if they have the engine problems under control which I think that do. It will be interesting to see how Ford prices it though. Looks like Ford is making a good marketing move here.
I agree, smart marketing move by Ford. Remember I told you that a few people selected by random were flown to Dearborn to talk to Ford about Ranger? Well, looks like they listened.
I agree regarding waiting untill all bugs are worked out.
The reliability data at MSN/Carpoint is gathered from Automotive Information Systems which can be found at:
\\spoog, this is not even funny any more. Ranger has more hp, more torque, better driveline from Borg-Warner and Torsen and Dana,\\
??? Ad this is proven how? IS this the suspension on your truck?
\\It is Ford my friend that is breaking new ground with the 4X4 segment, not Toyota.\\
huh? The Tacoma just beat a hummer, range rover, and wrangler in a head to head offroad test at fourhwheeler.com. The 2001 Ultimate 4x4 test.
Toyota has offered a good suspension, tow hooks, and standard skid and gas plates for years. They are also the only manufacturer to offr a factory locking differential. The ground clearance is the highest in its class, reliability highest in truck producing histroy.
No offense C, but I think your overreacting here.
\\Heck your engine is based on the old 3.0 dated back to the mid 80's.\\
Yet Edmunds calls it the most modern engine over the new Ford v6!
"Providing the muscle for the Tacoma is Toyota's 3.4-liter double overhead cam 24-valve V6. The most modern engine in the test, it is also the most efficient in terms of power versus displacement "
-Edmunds.com Compact crew cab comparison test 2001
The Tranny hasn't changed because it has proven its superiority again and again.
\\Don't get me wrong, Toyota Tacoma has a very good platform, just 2nd rate to the FX4 as stated in that article. Lets see if 4 Wheeler has the guts to pit a Tacoma against one without stacking the deck to Tacoma, like it's last test.\\
LOL! Just like the 2001 pickup of the year(tacoma won) and 2001 Ultimate 4x4 comparions test (tacoma won)?
Everything is a conspiracy with you right wingers when you dont get your desired results.
The FX4 offers NOTHING new that Toyota hasn't been doing for YEARS. Not a thing.
So do you agree with myself and Offroad.com that the current non Fx4 Ranger is only a cummuter?
Kind of what I have been saying all along.
The FX4 is a laughable vehicle.
" The Fx4 also offers a transfer case shift lever for the first time"
LOL! Toyota has had this for eons. Again, nothing new here.
Think for a second cspounser, just for one small second -
The Tacoma beat a HUMMER, Wrangler, and RANGE ROVER in a head to head offroad comparison test. Think about that long and hard.......
I was only kidding with my comment it was to hard to resist, I had a 2000 ZR2 but I traded it in today for a 2001 Wrangler sport, pick it up Wednesday. I never drove a jeep before but my girlfriend always wanted one and they're nice trucks, got both the hard and soft top. loaded with all options including 4.0 liter and auto.
Did you even click on the links to the red x'd boxes for the Toyota?
I guess you didn't notice that each one was for the WELL identified head gasket issue with the Toyota trucks (which for those who don't know was due to a part mfr'd in the USA which Toyota's TSB on the problem replaced with a factory made gasket).
Also, your charts intermix the older Toyota Pickup, with the Tacoma. Did you run the charts from 1995 on? I doesn't look like you have.
cpo's charts do show up through 1999. You claim that the charts intermix the older toyota pickup with the Tacoma, however spoog and other toyota fans on this board use the older toyota pickup statistics in their long reliability quotes. It appears from his charts if you look at 1996 and above that both the Tacoma and Ranger were high quality vehicles..
The reliability ratings from Carpoint proves long term Ranger's are cheaper to fix, and have less problems. It's live field data by a 3rd party company made up of 31 ASE Certified Master Technicians, who give support to service technicians nationwide, private or corporate. Can you even read a chart? From 1991 to 1994 Ranger receives 4 out of 5 stars. From 1995 to 1999 Ranger receives 5/5. From 1991 to 1993, Tacoma gets 3/5. 1994 to 1995 4/5 stars, and 1996 to 1999 5/5.
The FX4 isn't on the market yet, so you will have to wait for any head to head test or comparison. Be patient my quick to jump on Ford's [non-permissible content removed]-one.
Your links to fourwheeler comparisons don't equate to the FX4 because, again, it isn't on the market yet. It will be with the 2002 models of Ranger. Besides, aren't you being a bit hypocritical saying that since no other vehicles were compared in that review CP posted, that it shouldn't be considered? What about your ultimate 4X4 comparison you REPEATEDLY POST! It's getting old.
You are not looking at the big picture when you think a truck is only for off-roading. That is something only 5% of the population will do, and of that percentage, only about 5% of the time will you be truly off-roading anyway.
Skid plates and tow hooks. You're really trying to nit-pick now. And why do you bring up the "standard" on tacoma's since forever? Aren't those only standard on Prerunner or 4x4 Tacoma's? You're not presenting false information are you spoog? Tow hooks have been coming on 4X4 rangers for years, and the Edge even has them. Skid plates are new for the FX4 I think, but you can easily buy them with the money you save buying a ranger. Of course you can still get a jet ski on top of that with the money you save, all with standard ABS, tach, a CLOCK for Christ's sake, and many more items. Toyota gets you to pay with all the options you must buy to equal what Ranger offers.
The Ford 4.0l v6 is newer and stronger than the Yota 3.4l. It was used in 1995! The new OHC 4.0l is new for 2000. Most modern engine indeed! It's "most efficient in Power versus displacement" with an Explorer Sport track's weight versus an Ranger(with the same engine). The Ranger is MUCH lighter than the Explorer.
Those red x's on Tacoma/Toyota pickup were from: Common problems on this vehicle are failures of the Cylinder Head Gaskets and the Oxygen Sensor Wire Harness, and occasional problems are failures of the Exhaust Valves and the Engine Main Relay.
While similair year Rangers had:An occasional problem on this vehicle is failure of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor. Hmmm.
Occasional exhaust valves and head gasket failure is much more costly than an occasional MAF sensor.
The charts run from 1991 to 1999 on both models. Since "Tacoma" isn't there for all years, the "Pickup" was used since they are the same vehicle. 1994 and before was Pickup, and was used because the dip to 3 out of 5 was too hard to resist. But If you want "pure tacoma" vs Ranger, look at the 1995 and up.
Like PF_flyer said, it may be too wide depending on your resolution, you may have to scroll to see the big picture
Ranger has met the needs of the average consumer for the past 15 years, and has proven itself to be the biggest in demand. The only thing Tacoma has over Ranger is the reputation for quality, and it's better off-road abilities. The charts from msn.carpoint are some indication on reputation vs reality. This definately proves that with a larger market share, you will hear more about problems, yet the actual percentage of problems may actually be similair. Again Ford is listening to Ranger owners for what they want, and the Edge and FX4 models are that result.
There won't be a head to head competition for about a year or so, so we'll have to wait to see which is #1. But stated the improvements on the FX4, and the general agreement that Ranger can definately hold it's own against the Tacoma, next year will be a sight to behold. Or simply, if offroad contender #2 improves itself, it may just become #1 soon enough. Next year will tell, but it is promising.
\\The reliability ratings from Carpoint proves long term Ranger's are cheaper to fix, and have less problems.\\
You haven't seen the Consumers reports.digest ratings, have you?
You will see a bulletproof record.
\\This was composed to show Toyota quality is not all it's hyped up to be. \\
"Inside the cabin, we found typical Toyota fit and finish, which is to say that everything fits right and materials are of high quality"
- Edmunds.com 2001 crew cab comparison
"In addition to its solid overall performance, the Tacoma also boasts Toyota's long-standing reliability record. One editor noted: "You could probably drive the hell out of this thing every day for 10 years, and it would still serve you well, asking only for gas and regular maintenance."
- Edmunds.com 2001 crew cab comparison
" The Tacoma really wasn't much of a surprise. It showed strong Toyota build quality, has a smooth and strong V6 and will likely last longer than you care to own it."
- Edmunds.com 2001 crew cab comparison
"The Tacoma was by far the most capable truck in this test when it came to off-highway performance. It's also the only one with an optional rear differential lock. "
-Edmunds.com 2001 crew cab comnparison
"Other elements of the Explorer's cabin drew fire, however, such as the abundance of hard plastic and sub-par assembly (the ill-fitting power window pod in the driver's door, for example"
- Edmunds.com 2001 crew cab comparison
"When challenged with trail-bashing, the Sport Trac got through it, but it definitely wasn't the pick of the litter for this task. Low-hanging components underneath the truck frequently scraped when it was driven over rocky terrain"
-Edmunds.com 2001 crew cab comparison
"Unfortunately, I never was able to get over some of the cheap interior plastics used throughout the dash, and the front seats didn't prove much better than the rears. "

The color is red with the black trim and the black hard top, the soft top is also black, the truck is loaded with every option available for the sport model. I'm really excited about this truck its been a long time since I've had a convertible. Will keep you posted pick it up tomorrow at 5PM.
I've seen 2 different crash test ratings for the tacoma. One is 1 star for side impact, the other is 4 (out of 5). I can't figure out how the difference could be so great. frustrating for us consumers.
Oh? I will not be a wise guy. Here is the links to Rangers and Explores on Red Cone, Wheeler Lake Ptarmigan Pass, and I think Webster pass in Colorado:
Any pictures of yours or any Tacoma on Red Cone? I am sure they can do it, but so can the Fords.
Spoog, seriously, I think the Tacoma is a great 4X4 platform, just not the only one. Many will buy either of the vehicles and have a great time. Can we not just agree to take your vehicle, enjoy nature and have fun? Life is too short to argue about this kind of stuff.
You're points are well taken but you'd still be wrong.
My 1985 Toy lasted me for 16 years.
The red check boxes relate to an issue that was identified when the individual cases were recognized in mass by Toyota's distributed TSB collection org. After the advent of the Tacoma, the Head Gasket was replaced at the factory or via TSB after the fact or if problems occurred. The cost to the consumers for repair after the issue was identified was zero. If you read the check boxes again, you'll see that the other issues they site relate to or are caused by the head gasket.
I'm sorry to bring this up as well but, have the Ford folks visited www.nhsta.org for the 2001 model year? I know that TSB's do not spell quality but they do spell headache and pain to me. Does it make sense that NHSTA identifies 22 seperate categories of TSB's for 2001 Rangers and 2 for the 2001 Tacoma? (One of the 2 for the Tacoma was to change the routing of the wiring for the factory hitch so it doesn't interfere with the spare tire).
I don't think you guys and girls are stirring the Kool-Aid.
How does a common head gasket problem relate to occasional exhaust valve failure? That was the big one at 1000+ cost to repair. Would have to have my valves shredding my heads and pistons up from the inside.
So a TSB was issued to fix this head gasket, sort of like the TSB's issued to fix certain issues with Rangers. That makes it a double standard against both makes.
I agree to an extent of the Wal-mart analogy, but isn't 15 or 16 years straight, enough of a difference? Especially when you can spend more on a Ranger than a base Tacoma, or Just get a Kia Sportage for even less. If the money issue held up, and everyone would be in Kia's and Trackers etc. But it's all depends on if you think you're spending money on the extra quality or spending less money for more truck. So I think the argument is pretty much a draw.
It's funny how you only post certain sections of the TSB's. Sort of like he's not posting what vehicle it's affecting or how many vehicles affected.
Propaganda.
Are you retarded enough to not know the difference between the Ranger and the Explorer?
In your own words, shouldn't it be a direct competition? Only because the Tacoma was there against other vehicles doesn't make it Tacoma Vs. Ranger.
"\\The reliability ratings from Carpoint proves long term Ranger's are cheaper to fix, and have less problems.\\ You haven't seen the Consumers reports.digest ratings, have you?"
No, show them to us.
"You will see a bulletproof record."
I guess MSN's Carpoint and AutoVantage shatters that bulletproof record.
Next time don't reply with edmunds quotes on the wrong vehicle. RANGER, R-A-N-G-E-R. You know the compact truck from Ford, not the EXPLORER sport trak(or any Explorer for that matter).
And they did quite well, many stock vehicles taking passes rated 7+on a 1-10 scale. Red Cone, the REAL steep one is a one way only, down, loose shale/decomposed granite and is somewhere in the 25-30 degree slope catagory. Do not know if the Rangers took that one. Ptarmagine is the easiest of those passes, Mosquito Pass, the highest mountain pass with a road in North and South America was done on this trip and the Rangers were there. Think it is 13,200 or so ft elevation, will post the link when that becomes available.
The roll over was caused by a wheel getting jammed in the rocks.
The vehicle drove away.
I am posting Explorer stuff too for a few reasons, there are common componenets to the Ranger, someone here thinks they are incapable of 4 wheeling, and the trip was sponsored by an Explorer club, we kind of trade events! I got a response today from an Explorere for my trip to some passes in a few weeks.
\\Spoog, seriously, I think the Tacoma is a great 4X4 platform, just not the only one. Many will buy either of the vehicles and have a great time. Can we not just agree to take your vehicle, enjoy nature and have fun? Life is too short to argue about this kind of stuff\\
I picked it up today, it is flame red with the black hard top and black soft top. It has the canyon wheel package with the 4.0 auto and the instalock differential ( I think its called that ). And all the other creature comforts. So far I really like it although I've only got 20 miles on it. Can't wait to take off the hard top and put on the soft top. Don't really know how they rate as offroad vehicles but I do see a lot of them in different offroad magazines, and there are lots off aftermarket goodies for them. BTW this is my 4th new vehicle in 3 years and I think I may have to visit the mental hospital soon.
My roomate in college had a '97ish wrangler, 4 cyl, auto with softtop. I went to college in Nacogdoches Texas, where there are plenty of trails and woods to off-road in. That wrangler (only thing non-stock was the BF Goodrich's.)went everywhere, on account of it's small wheeelbase and stature. We could fit under huge tree limbs that would have hit the windshield of other vehicles, and could traverse severe changes in grade easily. It was a little anemic, but your 4.0l should help there. The highway gets a little teadious with it's boxy frame, but off-road is it's home. Have fun with your new purchase!
More and more people are seeing just how much garbage the hype is of how large the quality gap is between Ranger and Tacoma. Basically there is no huge gap in quality or reliabitliy! Toyota owners hate to hear that or read it. Its all over the internet. And of course you get guys like allknowing (knownothing) that will keep disputing that Toyotas are so much better.. Face it Toyota boys... you paid for a perceived quality/reliability advantage that DOES NOT exist. Ford responded to the challange with the new FX4 Ranger. I'm sure it will cost less also than a TRD...
I got a 2001 wrangler sport with hard and soft tops, flame red with black tops and the canyon wheels, 3.73 and trac lock 4.0 V6. I'm gonna take the hard top off this weekend and put the soft top on.So far I'm loving it its also got the stereo with equilizer and bass tube and the sound bar. I didn't realize there were so may different options availaible to make this truck one very capable offroad truck. BTW I was reading petersens 4 wheel offroad Oct edition and on page 11 there's an ad for BFgoodrich tires, if you look at the back of the jeep he's driving it has a ford blue oval on it, does that truck exist?
While I agree that the gap in quality between the Tacoma and the Ranger isn't huge, the gap between a normal human's mentality and yours is undeniably extremely huge.

A trucks reliability and build quality is NOT "subjective".
Not all trucks are built the same, as you can plainly see.

\\Equipped with the optional “FX4” package, Ford’s best selling mid-size undergos the transformation from economical work/commuter vehicle to a fully capable off-road weapon, through the use of several state of the off-road art components.\\
Basically they are saying the current Non-Fx4 Rangers are only "economical work/commuters"
LOL!!!!!
- Fourwheeler.com 2001 Ultimate 4x4 comparison ( Tacoma won)
It looks like this new Fx4 is all tricks and no treats. LOl, gotta love Ford junk.
Hopefully this laughable truck will be pitted against the Tacoma in a comparison test soon by a reputable magazine ( not one that has online dating banners).
Do you really think this wimpy offering by Ford can compete with a truck(Tacoma) that beat a Hummer, Wrangler, and Range Rover offroad? Think again.
"...it becomes clear that the FX4 really doesn't have any competition at all."
Lets go on:
"...undergos the transformation from economical work/commuter vehicle..."
Hold on again, they are talking JUST about the Ranger, not the 4X4 but the RANGER.:
"... to a fully capable off-road weapon..."
I agree regarding waiting untill all bugs are worked out.
The reliability data at MSN/Carpoint is gathered from Automotive Information Systems which can be found at:
http://carpoint.msn.com/Advice/Articles/aboutais.asp?th=1
Anyway, both the Tacoma and Ranger are good vehicles, Ranger is changing in the right direction and I want to see the next generation Tacoma.
I bet if I strapped you to the front of that "pretty fish mouth grill" the next time I went out on a run it would definitely squeal like a PIG.
THe Tacoma comments from Edmunds and Fourhweeler and Petersons are all from actual head to head REVIEWS and comparison tests.
John
I have always wanted a Wrangler.
Now you have a vehicle made for offroad, like the TRD Tacoma.
I have always wanted a Wrangler. What color is it?
Can you even read a chart?
From 1991 to 1994 Ranger receives 4 out of 5 stars. From 1995 to 1999 Ranger receives 5/5.
From 1991 to 1993, Tacoma gets 3/5. 1994 to 1995 4/5 stars, and 1996 to 1999 5/5.
Overall Tacoma 4.1111 Ranger 4.555. Perfect score 5.
This was composed to show Toyota quality is not all it's hyped up to be.
Common problems on this vehicle are failures of the Cylinder Head Gaskets and the Oxygen Sensor Wire Harness, and occasional problems are failures of the Exhaust Valves and the Engine Main Relay.
"
The Tacoma really wasn't much of a surprise.
-Edmunds 2001 crew cab comparison
"There are certain areas that I think Ford could improve upon, however.

That vehicle frame can take a licking and keep on ticken. Not too bad for a grocery getter. . .
I was suppose to be on that trip, had to stay in town to help my son out with tires for his college car. My loss, but maybe not really.
Built Ford tough. . .!
Best is in the eye of the beholder.
John
Just because Wal-Mart sells the most jeans in America doesn't mean that I'm out the door to get my next batch of Blue-Light specials.
I'll pay xtree for the my Levi jeans and my Tacoma any day.
John
Propaganda.
Are you retarded enough to not know the difference between the Ranger and the Explorer?
In your own words, shouldn't it be a direct competition? Only because the Tacoma was there against other vehicles doesn't make it Tacoma Vs. Ranger.
"\\The reliability ratings from Carpoint proves long term Ranger's are cheaper to fix, and have less problems.\\
You haven't seen the Consumers reports.digest ratings, have you?"
No, show them to us.
"You will see a bulletproof record."
I guess MSN's Carpoint and AutoVantage shatters that bulletproof record.
Can you show me the complete list of TSB's and Recalls for my 1993 Ranger? I know you have NHTSA bookmarked under your favorites...
Hmmm....
Im starting to agree.
Ford responded to the challange with the new FX4 Ranger. I'm sure it will cost less also than a TRD...
and bass tube and the sound bar. I didn't realize there were so may different options availaible to make this truck one very capable offroad truck. BTW
I was reading petersens 4 wheel offroad Oct edition and on page 11 there's an ad for BFgoodrich tires, if you look at the back of the jeep he's driving it has a ford blue oval on it, does that truck exist?
It is one of the best stock offroaders there is.
