Also does anyone know the lease rates for April for the XC90? Particularly interested in 36 mos with 10k or 12k miles. Thanks!
Typically,it is invoice minus any applicable incentives.
The XC90 has Metallic Silver Paint, AWD, Premium, Climate, Versatility, SIRIUS Radio, and Blind Spot Information System. For 3 years at 12,000 miles the payment is $609. Money Factor is .00241 and Residual 17862. New York taxes and tags due at signing with 1st payment. I based all of this on assuming you have excellent credit
MSRP is 45345.
I think I can do better. What do you think?
Does anyone know the money factors and residuals for April? Thanks!
36 Months - will not due shorter
120000 miles - will not due less miles
Residual - 35%
Money Factor - 0.00257 (6.2%)
With the "X" plan the monthly came to $972
This is with $9200 worth of incentives. My current lease is on a 07 AWD V8 Sport with monthly of $547 and $578 with taxes - nothing down except first month - 24 month lease and 10500 miles per year. Just proves that the bottom has fallen out of the SUV lease market. My buyout of the lease is $37K but the car is on worth $25K on the market - Volvo just lost $12K.
Do you really mean $972 a month? They will not do a lease for 24 months or for less than 12k a year?
They were just advertising $499 a month for the 3.2.
That's insanity.
This was with $0 down on a V8 AWD R. - they may due less months but with a residual of 35% on 36 months and a MF well over 6% - you are right at $970+

Do you have MF and residual value for a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles for a 2009 3.2 AWD?
Do you have MF and residual value for a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles for a 2009 3.2 AWD?

I just got a quote for an 09 XC90 AWD 7 passenger vehicle with:
the Premium Package, the Versatility Package, the Climate Package
MSRP: 42,925 Price $31,800
51 month Lease (after 48 Volvo will take car back if you lease another Volvo).
12k miles/ year.
$548/ month (includes NYS Tax 8.625)
Out of Pocket $1268.32. ($895 Bank Fee + $373.32 plates...)
I am kind of a novice and would really appreciate any advice. Thank-you.
2008 XC90 V-8
MSRP: $52k
Sale Price: $45,700
Resid: 64%
MF: 0.6%
15,000 Miles/year
~$1,500 down for start-ups.
ZERO Cap Cost Reduction!
$599/month including 9% PA Tax
My buyout is ~$33k but Volvo has agreed to adjust the buyout and bundle it with a CPO warranty and convert the lease to a used car CPO -buy. If the numbers work I'll do it since my wife LOVES her XC90. Otherwise, we're getting a Cayenne S for about $800/month for a 36-month lease, nothing down, 15k miles, and it stickers for $70k!
Believe me, the days of great leases seem to be over for now.

Money factor .00240

Total out of pocket up front $1563 ($825 destination, $695 bank fee, DMV fees)

What's the MSRP and the selling price? Also would you mind sharing the name of the dealership? Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me. (I'm not an expert, I'm just a consumer like you, but from what I've seen doesn't look bad).
Thanks!
Selling Price is $31,277 (after incentives and loyalty)
Northern California Lease: Dealer made final payment on old lease.
2009 XC90 3.2
36 mos.

Ipod/USB Adapter Kit. Installed by Dealer as they did not have a 2009 produced after Mid Nov. 2008 that now has this standard.
Money factor - Unknown. can't find it on Paperwork. Am I able to calculate this.
Residual - Unknown. If my calculation is right it's around 44% (I took residual value of 17382.30 and divided by cost of vehicle, 31000)
Total out of pocket up front $1415 ($300 cap reduction, sales tax on cap reduction of 26.28, 1st month's payment, DMV reg fee of 445.00 dmv electronic filing fee of 82.75 and some upfront sales tax fee of 3.94)
$511.92/mon
$44.79 CA Tax
$556.71/mo. Total.
Based on all the research I did on this forum, I think I got a good deal with all things considered. The lease on the 2007 XC90 I turned in was 499.00 a month plus tax, The only downside is I didn't have any drive off when I took delivery of it. The cars are identical. Just shows you how bad things the residuals have become.
What dealer did you get this from?
09 FWD
Premium
Versatility
Garmin Nav (port installed)
RSE
Park Assist
Bluetooth
15K
48 months
$1035 drive off , $590 including TAX (CA)
I believe the Cap Value was around $32000 and residual around 12K!
but on the other hand since it is the end of the month the dealer is having hard time to get the invoice from Port to bill the car hence the deal in June with the new program might be different? :confuse:
Anyone know what the program and residuals will be in June. I know they are throwing the 5 year maintanence program including the wipers and breaks (which is huge) but the lease side of it might be quite bad??? Any ideas :confuse:

$1000 drive of an $560 per month includes TAX including the 5 YEAR MAINTANENCE PLAN that includes the BREAKS and ROTOR and WIPER REPLACEMENT (SICK) I am glad I waited for the June program.
Good Luck
I am really glad you are still here!
(By the way, I did buy my S80 off lease and really love it, very happy with it. Thanks for the advice back then!)
I am replacing a 2000 Suburban(98K miles!) with a Volvo XC90 with Climate, premium, versatility and AWD. I may lease, finance or buy outright, depending on the best deal. I can use the COSTCO buyers Program (750 under invoice), and then deduct 1500 Volvo Loyalty and 500 Volvo rebate to lower the price further.
The first numbers I've been given are:
$40,530 MSRP
$35,378 purchase or
36 mo.
12K
$15,736 RV -(I was told it was a 37% residual Value but that doesn't foot)
$2000 down.(Which I won't do)
What numbers do you have for current VOLVO XC90 leases? What do you think of this deal offer?
THANK YOU AGAIN- :shades: This is too tricky to do without advice from experts.
Can you help me decipher this? Dealer now says the "Lease Purchase Price" is #31,128 (Cap cost $35,378 less $4,250 Alternative Lease Assistance Program). :confuse:
All other # are:
MSRP 40,350
36 m
12K miles
rv =.39 or $15,736
MF=.00230 or 5.52%
$567.45/month (which includes$32.12 tax) In addition there is
$2,000 in upfront fees(plates, reg, dealer process, bank process and first month)
My question are
1) Do I save money by leasing THEN buy out the lease after 2-3 months in order to get the Alternative Lease Assistance purchase price. I am confused as to how to calculate that. and
2) What do you think of the proposed lease deal?
THANKS THANKS!!!!!! :confuse:
Do you have current #'s for a XC90 3.2, 10k / year ? Im not sure what the programs are now ( 24k, 36, etc).
Thanks
You may find that you are better off leasing this vehicle through an independent bank and taking advantage of the special $7,000 cash incentive that is available on leases of it through banks other than Volvo Finance.

If I was in the market for an XC90 right now, I personally would shoot for a selling price of a couple hundred dollars over dealer invoice (you can look that number up right here) minus the available cash incentives.

Thank you
2008 Volvo XC90
-Premium Pkg
-Climate Pkg
-Versatility Pkg
-Metallic Paint
MSRP $43,350
Cap Cost $38,226
Residual $26,443
24 month lease with 15k miles per year
$500/month.
$821.36 total due at signing which was inclusive of SC sales tax of $300
Well 24 months has come and gone and now it's time to decide if I should buy the car or not. My question is this, can I negotiate with Volvo Finance on the payoff amount ($26443)? So far, they have indicated that they will not negotiate. If not, would I be better off trying to buy a used XC90 from scratch? My wife loves the car, but after reading recent posts, I can't help but feel like I can get a better deal on an 08 XC90 similarly equipped. Oh, and I'm under the miles so that doesn't factor in. Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions!
You probably will be better off leasing this truck through an independent bank and taking advantage of the special $4,250 cash incentive for leases of it through any bank other than Volvo Finance.

Can anyone help with Volvo's RV's and MF's for July?

$3245 price reduction on 7 passenger model
$500 Volvo Allowance
$1500 Owner Loyalty (we own an S40)
$1500 NEA discount (my wife is an NEA member)
Is it possible that the total discount available on a lease through an independent bank is $11295?!?!
Have you gotten any prices yet from a dealer? If you get a quote for purchase versus lease, I hope you'll post it. I'm at $37000 (not including tax/tag) for AWD, 3.2, with prem,. versatility (so 7 passenger) and climate. I'm thinking that's not as good as it ought to be. Maybe my dealer has not already factored in the Volvo loyalty - I'll ask and let him know I assume he hasn't.
Thanks.

FYI, when determining invoice price on Edmunds you need to add the Premium and Versatility packages and then subtract the $3245. You'll find that the $3245 equals the MSRP on those packages. I believe Volvo is offering the Versatility (7 passenger) option for free due to the introduction of the XC60.
Hope this helps...
A someone pointed out, the Premium and Versatility packages are now free.
