Bought a new used car, strange formation on windshield, any ideas how to get rid of it?
I bought a used Mazda6 a few months back and it's always had this weird formation on it. I've tried multiple methods to clean it off including vinegar/water mix, lubricant, standard soap/water, and maybe one or two other methods I can't think of at the moment, but the bugger just persists. I want to say its a hard water stain but it seems way to resilient to be that.

Has anyone seen anything like it or have any ideas for removing it?

Wonder if it was a chip repair and that's adhesive between the glass layers? A local glass shop could probably tell you in a glance.
