Toubleshooting electrical problems on 2003 Lincoln Navigator
I am trying to figure out why I'm losing sensors, today my air ride suspension didn't work in front, my accessories stay on indefinitely with no key in the ignition. I found something I never thought of and started looking for any literature on it. Here's my problem. My positive battery connector is flat sheet metal type material. I reached in and just lifted it right off the terminal. Could that loose connector be causing some relays to malfunction and my air ride compressor to not turn on today? just curious. If I don't figure it out by next week I'm going to the dealer.

YES, the described intermittent positive battery connection could cause the described issues. Sounds like it could be fixed easily with new wire/connector/post, and or new battery. Shadetree/local mechanic should be able to handle such a job - shouldn't require dealer shop.
