    Yeah, I don't understand the decisions of manufacturers sometimes. Look at the 93+ Supra. Unbelievable car with performance, looks and reliability to match that still looks incredible today, but never was a suitable replacement made. NSX too, although I'm sure the new NSX will be insanely expensive.

    The RSX WAS the JDM Integra, as well as other markets. Other than being a bit more upscale inside and consequently a bit more expensive, I'm not sure why it didn't "fill the shoes" of the preceding model. But I miss quality 2-door liftbacks, and I've noticed that RSX resale prices remained high after there was no successor.

    Let this be a lesson in business school case studies that bean counters should not be given free reign in a car manufacturing company.

    At the LA Autoshow, there were exactly 2 people that were not working for Acura checking out the cars. I kinda felt bad for the people working at the exhibit. When the only car people care about is an CUV they can lease cause an X5 or ML or Range Rover Sport is too damn expensive, you know you got problems. Acura is the brand that has completely lost it's identity.

    Former Integra GS-R owner here... loved that car, btw.

    Cars which have achieved cult status:
    1. Porsche 911
    2. Chevy Corvette
    3. Ford Mustang
    4. Mazda Miata
    5. BMW M3
    6. Dodge Viper

    Ford Bronco and Ford Excursion. Either group is very dedicated to their vehicle and its modifcation. Personally I would love to see new Bronco made along the lines of short full size truck frame in either 1/2 ton or 1 ton flavors, 2 doors, seats 3 max, covered and carpeted cargo area, shares mechanical parts with full size truck. As for the Excursion Ford just needs to make it again with new drive trains and updated exteriors. There are people who want a diesel powered 4x4 SUV that can haul the family and the 10-15K lb boat. Its not small or subtle but its the face of brute power in a everyday package.

    Hey Edmunds, any luck with Acura fixing the noises coming from the engine and fuel pump? May owners have this problem.

    I read that Edmunds' test car also has the dreaded body panel gap problems from poor build quality and poor QA.
