    To me it simply looks awesome (proportions, low-slung look, etc). A step in the right direction away from the comparatively generic old design. They should keep the Genesis badging all around, though, and avoid slapping the slanted H on the trunk.

    Not a huge fan of the fascia, but the design in general is really sharp. Well done.

    I agree with gloss, beautiful silhouette, nice back end (although not very original). The Audi/Infinit headlamps look good, but that grill is awful. They really should have stuck with the prior one, which was elegantly boring.

    A much more stylish version than the prev gen which was almost too traditional. Good for Hyundai, let the Equus be a little more staid. My first impression is this has a Jaguar-like feel to it, at least from the side. I don't think the grille looks too large, maybe because the chrome bits are not outrageous.

    Exterior is a copy of BMW 5 Series, hope they have a good engine in there.

    Seems like a lot of people are saying BMW, but my first impression is Audi. That gaping maw and the LED running lights... Sure, Audis look uber classy, so if there's a design to copy that would be it. But at the same time the overall design just seems too derivative.

    looks sharp. Enough with these comments about resemblance to BMW, Audi, merc, lexus... The head of design is now Peter Schreyer, former Audi/VW design chief, so yea, expect some similarities..

    Don't get me wrong, I like the look of the new Genesis, but boy are the looks derivative. A German luxury car mash-up.

    Yeah, yeah it looks like this, the grille is from that. So what if some styling cues might be from some other noteworthy luxury cars. As far as I'm concerned this car looks great. Are you Lincoln designers seeing this?

    Dare I say I would buy one?

    Shamelessly steal ideas--I see a little bit of Audi, Lexus, BMW and Infiniti. Hyundai came up with a 'very nice' looking car!

    There's always comments about how Korean design cues look like BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Audi, and Infiniti. I get that to an extent, but those brands all borrow from each other as well, and look very similar. They all stay within the very narrow scope of how "luxury" and "premium" are defined to look at this time. Short of releasing a sphere car the Koreans will be accused to heavy borrowing, mostly due to doubts that the Koreans can do premium at all.

    Seems lke We are done copying BMWs - We seem to go after Audis these days??
    Don't expect to carve your niche in the luxry segment unless you come up with your own designs from teh ground up...
