Comparing a base GTR to a base 911 is a bit misleading.
A base GTR is pretty much loaded and Porsche is notorious for striping base models down and gouging on the options.
Plus why would you compare a 991 Carrera to a GTR? They're light years apart as far as performance goes.

$100k base price? And there are still expensive options?

The GT-R is still a fantastic car, but it certainly doesn't represent the value that it used to. I think the stage is set for a competitor to come along and steal some of the GT-R's budget supercar thunder.

I hope that a new model is coming. Thats what a price increase usually means... but there is no news of new models so I guess not. Anyway, still a great value, but very very expensive value. Good News? Thanks to that Abe idiot, the yen is depreciating very quickly, meaning that Japanese cars have a potential to drop in prices! yay! (for the future....)
