With five different engines in the EcoBoost family and 2 million units built since 2009, Ford said this week EcoBoost engines now are outselling its diesels and global demand is still growing.

    Why is this an achievement.
    Other automakers are getting better fuel economy without turbocharging and engine downsizing. The real world fuel economy of eco boost engines are not impressive.
