This is an example of decontenting that actually ends up costing more than it saves. You can get a regular Focus with that camera, and apparently the body control module and the harness in the ST are unchanged from that of a Focus that has a camera. Keeping more SKUs on the books for cars that lack features costs money. Ford would be better off just putting the camera on them all. But then they would incur the wrath of those who want the LSD and upgraded intercooler, but don't want to pay "extra" for chrome lug nuts and sound insulation. They can't win.

In the past, plastic blanks were placed where you would find buttons for the functions you didn't pay for. I guess, in a world without buttons, Ford still feels it's important to remind you which features your car doesn't have.

really, the only conclusion to come to at this point is MFT=LOL

I still don't know why people buy these 'new and improved' Fords. Still have terrible quality and MFT is a disaster. My parent's Lincoln Continental from the 90's was a rust bucket and maintenance was a nightmare. Ford will never learn. Stay away people.

Usually I hate cursing, but if I see this message, I'd drop an F bomb so loud, the Canadians would hear it.
