    Wow, Edmund's invested a lot of research and analysis in this article. So much "reporting" today, even at major media sites, is blog quality writing pretending to be real journalism. This is the complete opposite. Thanks, and kudos, Michelle!

    ...BTW, not trying to take anything away from blogs, either on Edmunds or elsewhere. Blogs are blogs, and that's fine. I'm complaining about the all-too-common practice of many major news sites today to publish "stories" that contain just one statistic, two made-for-TV sound bite quotes, and superficial analysis. That's weaksauce journalism.

    While I share the other commenters' opinions that these monthly sales reports are in-depth and informative analyses... I just wish someone would proof-read them first. There was one point where I couldn't even figure out what you were trying to say, so I just skipped it. You obviously put a lot of time in the analyses; a little more time on writing couldn't hurt. Simple errors like these detract from what would otherwise be an excellent article. Thank you.

    These monthly articles are always insightful. Thanks again Michelle. I'm surprised this is in the "What's Hot" section though. One thing- I see that large, midsize and compact cars are listed, but what about the other two segments: CUVs and Compacts? These are two hyper-competitive fields too right now.
