    So the initial finding is that CLA's dual-clutch tranny is not made to be driven in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

    In some ways, Mercedes may have dialed in too much character into the CLA, with its firm ride and temperamental transmission. At the same time, it's a niche car (no matter how many times people want to put it in the same category as mainstream cars like the A3 and 320i). And it looks great on the road. Saw 2 A3's so far , and that thing has zero road presence and looks alot like a VW-brand product.
