    Been there, done that. Many times. In fact the Porsche USA Website just changed for the better this week.

    For me it's always a 911S Coupe with PDK, PSE and Burmester Audio. That's all you really need.

    I've priced out a 911 Cabriolet (non-S) with PDK, PSE and Burmester and it's close to the above.

    I waffle between the two often.

    Ah, that brings me to my favorite game: "How High Can You Option This Car?" Winner goes to the highest ratio of total to base price. In this case, On this particular run, I got a base price of $84,300 and added enough options to bring it to a total of $171,350 (including destination) or a 2.0326 ratio. Everyone needs painted dash vents and a leather fusebox cover, right?

    Without hesitation, a silver GT3. Don't need or care for options, other than maybe Euro Delivery. Seats will come out for something lighter and tighter with a 4 point harness. That was easy, now onto the hard part: Will I call her Heidi or Susan... Ah decisions, decisions.

    Brent you show too much restraint. Any 4S model or Turbo model with every option short of guards red seat belts.

    4s manual dark brown exterior i'm not sure on interior color i like colorful so im leaning twords blue or red but you cant go wrong with dark brown. all the go fast bits, torque vectoring, chrono, ceramic brakes, adaptive suspension, the really good sterea, the apearence package with the duck spoiler, i would delete the model designation in the rear and it would just say "911" ($300 option!) i would probably have aftermarket wheels and since i'm splurging i would get the glass roof

    i'm still trying to get over the fact that the turbo is not offered with a manual anymore. i don't want the supercar experience i just want fun slidey awd porsche drifts. the gt3 i'm not that interested in because i would prefer the gt3-rs whenever it launches (soon?) but the S model has 400hp now so i could see myself content with the 4s. i think what we all really want is last year's gt2-rs

    I've wasted more time than I'd care to admit there. The 50th anniversary edition is beautiful and I love those seats, but i'd be happy with this:

    Porsche's excellent 24 month lease terms on the 911 are just good enough to lull me into thinking I could actually afford one. Damn I want a 991!

    My problem is I've never liked the looks of the 911 that much. It's cool but there are better looking cars. (R8 please). If I had to have a porsche, because I like somewhat quirky non-mainstream, it'd be a turbo panamera.

    I'd be curious to see if there's a site that breakdowns every option that's available (and that's a LOT of them) with pictures and description of each one. Getting a "fully loaded" Porsche would be idiotic as it's as much as the next level up.

    If not this, I'd be getting a Cayman. I don't think any of the other 911s are "worth" their starting price (nevermind once you tack on the options). Especially as the S starts at $100K?? The GT3 is a relative bargain.

    I'd get a Carrera S with a stick, all of the performance options aside from the PDCC (which is doesn't need), upgraded leather, all the body panels painted, the sportdesign wheels, sportdesign steering wheel, and Bose sound.
