    It still seems like if a faster than an FR-S car is what you are after you'd do better buying one to start with rather than spending the money to try to make the FR-S into something it isn't.

    The mazdaspeed 3 has this issue too. Might be a DI plus force induction thing under some tuning parameters..

    that is a very common characteristic of supercharged cars especially ones with very large blowers. the extra drag on the engine makes it want to stall on light throttle takeoffs from a start. it should be able to be tuned out since your blower is not massive the cars computer is probably still trying to find ways to save fuel when it has no business doing so!
