    They've now sent out invites for the event at the Hawthorne airport facility for 7pm on the 9th. Best guess is that D is for dual-motor as in a 4 wheel drive Model S.

    Wonder what "Affordable" means. And does it only go 90 miles like a Nissan Leaf? Is it slow like Leaf? It had better still be a compelling product, because I assume "affordable" still means at least $40 grand, probably in the 50s with options and battery upgrades.
