Hey there....new to the forum. Hoping to get some advice on which tow vehicle would be best for me. Looking for the following:
-Can tow at least 3500lbs
-Max budget is only $15,000
-4 door with backseat for the kids
-This would be my primary vehicle and I commute 40 miles per day each way

I've considered pretty much everything but just cant seem to decide what would be best in terms of reliability, safety and comfort.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
John

A Ford Explorer or Jeep Grand Cherokee could work, unless you are more interested in a pickup with a bigger cab. The gas mileage won't be great on the daily commute, but those SUVs have 5,000 pounds of towing capacity, which would give you plenty of reserve.

You could probably find a 2009 model year near your price target with around 100,000 miles on it, perhaps a bit more.
