  I LOVE my Cooper S 4 door! Except for the one year I drove a Civic Si, which I quickly traded in for another Mini the following year, I have been driving a Mini since 2004. With my husband driving a Corvette Grand Sport and Mustang and me with my 2 door Mini, we needed a more practical car for everyday life. (Dog, friends/family, DIY projects.) I tested the Paceman and Countryman and both of those models would have been a big compromise as a Mini driver. Not once since purchasing the 4 door S have I felt like I compromised. It is even more fun than my older 2dr hardtop I traded in. It handles better than ever, great gas mileage, sophisticated but not stuffy, solid, fast, safe, practical, beautiful inside and out, techy, intuitive, responsive and like Mini’s always have in the past it still handles perfectly in snow. My husband, a diehard Mustang guy, was so impressed with the new Mini Hardtops that he bought a 2015 2door S Hardtop when I was filling out the paperwork for mine at the dealership. Yes, it is THAT good. (you know how Mustang guys feel about their cars) The folks who may not like the new Mini are those who have a large family who need the two backseats for people plus ample storage at the same time. The only thing I worry about as an owner is my perfect driving record – this car is exhilarating, fun and fast. The faster I go the bigger my smile! If you have not driven a new Mini, you have to take one out and see for yourself.
