  Well, there seems to be lots of used K900s listed with < 10k miles starting at about $40k-$45k, so that seems like a pretty significant depreciation especially compared to that A8 in which starts at about $65k. A 2013 A8 with 60k would sell for about the same price.

  This is a big factor with the K900. Not only is it cheaper than the first-tier competitors from BMW, Audi, etc., but it also depreciates more, which makes it an excellent choice for someone who wants a big luxury sedan but has a budget more in line with a 3 Series/A4/C-Class. As long as the dynamic/performance shortcomings aren't an issue, the K900 would make a fine CPO purchase for somebody that wants something more akin to an LS460/A8 but simply doesn't have the budget for that kind of car.
