Headlights won't go off when I turn off. Please help GMC Envoy 2004.

In order to shut off the lights I have to disconnect the battery or play with the light switch gmc envoy 2004

    Not sure on your Envoy, But on my vehicles the headlights can be programmed to turn off x amount of minutes after turning vehicle off. Is this a possibiulity, perhaps changed by someone?

    I have same issue...just started out of the blue on my 2006 Envoy. Anyone have a fix? AND NO its not a timed issue.....the lights NEVER go off. Then end up with dead battery....but good try there ray80....guess we got to be a REAL idiot to not figure that part out!....& I'm a women..lol
