    I think it's supposed to remain on (by law) in every car that has a reverse camera, even if the display is turned off.

    aroundview works in my Infiniti no mater what.

    Mazda "solves" this (cough) by not letting you turn off the infotainment system. My new 3 is this way. You can darken the screen and you can mute the audio, but you can never truly turn it off. An odd concept.
