  It's good to see that the K900 is at least meeting the EPA's combined estimate. While a lot of cars in this segment have V8s, there are also some (like the A8 and 7 series) that have six-cylinder options as well. I know Kia wants to be taken seriously in this segment, but it would probably be a good idea for them to offer a lower-cost V6 option underneath the V8. This would bring down the price a little bit, making it look more attractive in comparison to competitors, while also improving efficiency. In all honesty, I don't think there's a ton of consumers out there that will be seriously cross-shopping a new A8/7-series/S-class/LS/etc. against a new K900. If anything, it might serve as either a new car alternative to buying one of the competitors second-hand, or as a larger option in comparison to an A6/5-series/etc. But I don't think many shoppers with a budget that allows for a new executive sedan from one of the traditional luxury marques would seriously consider spending that money on a Kia instead, no matter how nice it may be.
