    The other cost is losing the speed rating of the tire. Now you'll need to treat the tire as non-speed rated and drive below 85mph.

    actually it depends on the tire manufacturer. a list of their policies is here:

    looks like they are pirelli tires (www.pirelli.com visible in photo). oddly enough it appears that repair of v-rated tires and above is not recommended by pirelli; according to tirerack.com

    Which they should be doing in their area anyway patch or not.
