    I'd understand if we're talking about complaining about some crappy base model cloth seats, but these guys were $1,600 extra. If I were paying that, I'd expect them to be very well designed especially on a $46,000 vehicle.

    I REALLY wanted those 'Caros when I saw them first in a last gen GT500 (they were exclusive to them, before they expanded them to the rest of the lineup). They looked infinitely better than the seats on the S197 Mustangs that came stock - those were a joke. So much so that I ordered my 2015 Mustang GT with em - then I got to experience the Premium seats and updated my order to remove them two days before they issued me a VIN!

    The 2015's premium (leather) seats are super comfortable, have great bolstering and support (so much so that I often pull .9-1.1 G with no slippage at all) and have heating and cooling + power and memory return for those who care. The side bolsters are nice and firm but not sharp where they intrude into your body or scuff you when you get in or out.

    With the 68B (Premium Accent) package the leather is upgraded further and the seats looks really nice - esp with the jet black leather and white piping.

    I'm glad I saved the 1600 or so for those Recaros.

    Paying $1600 extra for less functionality and more looks is the key issue here. I bet performance wise, you can run the same lap times with recaros or not. And the weight difference is negligible...

    Seat heaters can come in handy. In July 2011, I made two trips from South Carolina to Florida; the first to check off a 30 year old bucket list item. I started the first trip on July 7 and that was a multi-day trip. The second trip was an overnight trip on July 20, witness the end of an era with the final Space Shuttle landing, and drive back home. My back got sore from driving and not much sleep. On the trip home, I turned on the seat heater and felt better. I don't have a BMW, Mercedes, or Rolls that have seat massagers; but the seat heater in my Chevy worked.
